Help Me Refresh My Map

 I am always traveling and keeping my eyes open for old Nickerson buildings.  I see them everywhere, some in use and some totally removed.  If you drive by one in your travels please drop me a line, I would love to keep my records updated or to visit the site.

    So it seems there was a NF in Troy Illinois. It was a truck stop that was purchased and converted toward the end of the company. I suspect this is why the Marine Illinois store was never opened. Open for suggestions.

Death of a NIckersons

I am saddened to report, the Nickerson Farms building at Picacho Peak Arizona has collapsed.  Thanks to Dr. FD for the update and great pictures.  While not the last standing it was one of the few which was totally abandoned, nearly from the beginning.  Many of these restaurants were built miles from any population, depending on the highway traffic to survive, which they did not.
