Greetings Red Roofers,

I am shocked to say there was another Nickerson's discovered.  It has been torn down, but was in Crystal City Mo at I-55 and US 61.  I have no information on this store and did not even know it existed.  Anyone out there have any info?

    Do you happen to have the kid's menu from NF that had the farm scene with the tractor? I grew up in Fowlerville and visited NF and the Bea Hive weekly with my mom. Their cube style hashbrowns and chicken noodle soup are cornerstones to my childhood.

Death of a NIckersons

I am saddened to report, the Nickerson Farms building at Picacho Peak Arizona has collapsed.  Thanks to Dr. FD for the update and great pictures.  While not the last standing it was one of the few which was totally abandoned, nearly from the beginning.  Many of these restaurants were built miles from any population, depending on the highway traffic to survive, which they did not.
